Glinda Suarez is a costume designer who started her career as a costume department intern on the Universal lot, working on the television series called LIFE. She then worked her way up, holding numerous positions in the costume department on various television series including MTV’s Awkward, Hulu’s The Mindy Project, Showtime’s Black Monday and Films such as A Wrinkle in Time and Sylvie’s Love.

While working as the assistant costume designer for Season 1 of HBO Max’s The Sex Lives of College Girls, Glinda was tapped to take over the series halfway through the season for her longtime mentor and friend, costume designer Salvador Perez. Glinda went on to costume design season 3 and 4 of Netflix’s hit series Never Have I Ever.

Glinda is a bilingual, first generation Mexican-American, born and raised in southern California. She graduated from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Glinda’s diverse background, culture, sense of style, and love of vibrant colors and prints aid in the development of each character’s aesthetic.
